What is expected of you?

Oversee the preparation of the Group's management and financial statements
Manage the accounting team and monitoring work in progress within the internal accounts department
Proposing annual budgets of expenditure and revenue forecasts for the upcoming financial year in alignmen with Group policies
Offer guidance on technical issues related to Group’s accounts
Act as a liaison and point of reference for all Group departments on accounting matters
Handle and manage accounting tools
Approve payments and serve as an authorized signatory
Oversee the Group's statutory audit
Take responsibility for the preparation of the Group's fiscal returns

What are you expected to bring?

Be a fully qualified accountant or in final stages of becoming qualified
Have a minimum of two years' experience in finance within an internal accounting function
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Possess a proactive and ethical approach, with the ability to work independently in demanding environments
Excellent leadership skills, coupled with the ability to promote effective relationships with colleagues and management
Ability to influence and motivate the team to implement plans focused on significant change and process improvement
Be an innovative team player able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficient user of Microsoft
Applications, especially MS Excel.
Experience with Xero would be considered an asset
