What is expected of you?

• Collaborate with the Managing Director to establish, maintain, and enhance the Quality Management System
• Ensure successful certification to ISO 9001-2015 and other pertinent quality marks and certifications deemed applicable
• Implement effective systems and controls in accordance with EU GDP requirements
• Address and manage all customer complaints promptly, ensuring immediate responses and effective corrective actions
• Evaluate the Transport Management System software by gathering feedback to identify weaknesses and propose enhancements
• Facilitate internal communication among offices by providing relevant training to personnel, maintaining the required level of competency
• Coordinate with third parties to streamline the execution of planned audits and the implementation of corrective actions resulting from audits
• Update the status of corrective actions stemming from complaints, damages, and audit findings
• Oversee internal processes to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Conduct biannual management review meetings, documenting executive decisions for future reference
• Supervise office functions to guarantee overall efficiency

 

What are you expected to bring?

• Education at the A' level standard
• Previous experience in international shipping or logistics is a plus
• Basic accounts and logistics knowledge will be considered an asset
• Strong time management and self-organisation skills
• Excellent customer care skills and ability to work in a team
• IT proficiency, particularly Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
• Effective communication skills in English and Maltese, knowledge of Italian is an asset
