What is expected of you?

• Develop and execute training programs on coach driving techniques and traffic regulations to prepare trainees for B and D license testing
• Prepare lesson plans to deliver informative and engaging lessons, both in the classroom and behind the wheel
• Conduct hands-on training in a controlled environment, demonstrating coach handling techniques, proper use of controls and safety procedures
• Monitor and assess students' progress, offering constructive feedback to enhance their skills and ensure understanding of local traffic regulations
• Evaluate students' ability to drive coaches, handle passenger interactions, and respond to unforeseen situations
• Promote safety awareness, keeping students updated on regulation changes and ensuring adherence to company policies as well as Transport Authorities regulations
• Maintain accurate records of student training progress, logs, attendance, and other necessary records using online training systems
• Foster confidence and motivation for the student’s success in the driving industry
• Handle any additional duties related to the job position as required by the business needs

 

What are you expected to bring?

• Hold a D license for a minimum of 5 years
• Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
• Have extensive knowledge of traffic laws and coach operations
• Be flexible and adaptable and able to keep abreast with regulations
• Exceptional communication abilities
• Excellent teaching and interaction skills for communicating with students, coupled with the ability to assess their progress and provide feedback
• Specific Certificates (such as Driving instructor permit, Train the Trainer certification and First Aid & Fire fighting certification) are an asset
