What's expected of you?

• Spearhead the design, planning, implementation, configuration, administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of IT systems and its architecture
• Craft and maintain functional specifications along with comprehensive system documentation.
• Uncover opportunities to elevate infrastructure and streamline processes through technology, ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards
• Enhance the underlying infrastructure to achieve peak performance, robust security, and optimal availability
• Scrutinize systems, suggest information security solutions, and establish/maintain computer network and security systems
• Perform meticulous disaster recovery plans, contribute to seamless business continuity, and manage scheduled/unscheduled maintenance
• Cultivate strong connections with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external customers as well as the Technology team
• Conduct thorough assessments of IT systems and networks to pinpoint vulnerabilities
• Handle threats, malfunctions, and attacks
• Administer firewalls, routers, VPNs, and various security tools
• Perform other duties as might be required from time to time

 

What are you expected to bring?

• Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an ICT role
• Industry certifications, particularly Microsoft MS-101 and MS-500, would be considered advantageous
• Exhibit expertise in Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security
• Possess a working understanding of networking, firewalls, Web Filtering Solutions, Mail Gateways, Load Balancers, AWS, and Intrusion Detection/Prevention solutions
• Demonstrate proficiency with the Linux operating system
• Strong business orientation with proven knowledge of the IT industry
• Possess excellent communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in teamwork, multitasking, and meeting deadlines
• Fluent in the English language
