What's expected of you?

• Lead and manage the Accounts department, fostering excellence and collaboration
• Mentor and support Accounts Executives for their professional development
• Prepare comprehensive monthly/quarterly management accounts with accurate profit and loss forecasts
• Generate various financial reports: profit and loss, VAT returns, cash flow, and bank reconciliations
• Conduct regular analysis of financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making
• Assist external auditors, Board Members, and Management during audits to ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain robust internal controls and document accounting processes to mitigate risks
• Monitor cash balances and forecasts to ensure financial stability
• Conduct weekly/monthly bank statement reconciliations according to company policies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop annual budgets and contribute to the yearly business plan
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support budgetary decision-making and strategic planning initiatives

 

What are you expected to bring?

• Be a fully qualified Accountant
• Proven previous experience in a similar role
• Be well-organized, with a track record of achieving targets and a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent leadership skills
• Strong proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite
• Display the ability to drive change, take initiative, and act as required
• Proficient in work planning and time management
