Job vacancy Finance Executive

Our client, a leading international financial institution is looking to recruit a Finance Executive to join their internal finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Posting of invoices, recording financial transactions and ensuring accuracy of records
• Updating bank accounts and preparing supplier payments
• Liaising with banks and other third parties as may be required
• Debtor chasing and performing debtor and creditor reconciliations
• Assisting the team in the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
• Analyzing and addressing any accounting issues
• Proposing improvements to enhance accounting workflows
• Issuing reports and managing queries from company personnel
• Performing any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time-to-time

• 2-3 years of previous local experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Sage and MS Office applications
• Able to meet deadlines and proactive approach to work
• Fluency in written and spoken Maltese and English

• Diploma in Accounts or equivalent
