Job vacancy Plant Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity for a Plan Operations Manager has become available with a Pharmaceutical company. As the Plant/Site Manager, you will manage the site and ensure that the necessary resources are available for all the departments. You will be responsible for the daily management and coordination of plant operations including production, operations, and logistics in line with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations to ensure safety.

• Develop plans that help operations run smoothly.

• Manage production.

• Implement and manage budgets.

• Recruit, train and onboard new employees.

• Collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste.

• Commit to plant safety procedures.

• Stay up to date with the latest plant management best practices and concepts.

• Educate, develop, and motivate all personnel to achieve the required company results.

• Ensure timelines for all operations.

• Maintain positive engagement among personnel and department managers.

• Participation in Quality Management Review meetings.

• Assist in Business Development.

Requirements:

• Certified Level 6 Qualification in the natural sciences (Pharma, Chemistry and Biochemistry)

preferred).

• Pharmaceutical industry experience

• In-depth understanding of production processes.

• Understanding of GMP and National legislation

• Excellent communication skills.

• Above-average understanding of written and spoken English, Maltese is preferred

• Proven Management Experience.
