Job vacancy Delivery Driver (C/C1 License)

Join our client's team as a Delivery Driver and become an essential part of our customer service! Your primary task will be to ensure timely delivery of company products to our valued clients each day. To maximize efficiency, deliveries are organized by area, allowing you to optimize drop rates. In addition to deliveries, you may also be tasked with product collection using pick lists from our stores and operating a forklift to move or load products when necessary.If you're ready to hit the road and play a vital role in our delivery operations, apply now!
 

What's expected of you?

• Adhering to speed limits and obeying all road signs while driving.
• Maintaining driving records, including truck/van reports, mileage, and gas receipts.
• Performing routine vehicle maintenance, such as weekly cleaning of the interior and exterior, and scheduling inspections with the leasing agent.
• Promptly reporting any vehicle problems or damages to the supervisor and leasing agent.
• Ensuring compliance with company uniform and safety equipment policies.
• Loading and unloading goods for delivery.
• Engaging with customers to collect payments, obtain signatures, and issue invoices.
• Handling cash sales and returning signed invoices to the accounts department.
• Collecting orders for the next day from the stores.
• Verifying and assuming responsibility for the stock loaded onto the truck.
• Utilizing product scanners and WMS software efficiently.
• Safely lifting heavy goods for delivery.     
   

What are you expected to bring? 

• Possession of a clean police conduct.
• Special driving license (C/C1) + Forklifter experience
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Proficiency in reading and writing in Maltese and English.
• Demonstrated discipline and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
