Job vacancy Finance Executive

An international group of companies is looking for a Finance Executive to join the team of one of their companies. 

Duties include: 

• Support the day to day running of the finance function
• Maintain accounting procedures and processes across the company
• Posting invoices, journals, payments and receipts in the accounting system
• Perform all necessary reconciliations including but not limited to cash, banks and intercompany balances
• Support financial audits
• Update bank accounts and prepare monthly bank reconciliations as necessary
• Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments
• Assist with recording suppliers’ invoices and issuing outgoing invoices when  
• required
• Compile monthly managements accounts, forecasts and assist in the analysis and reporting on variances
• Prepare payments and bank transfers for authorization by the CFO
• Prepare VAT returns for local entities
• Monitor debtors’ collection period
• Monitor and oversee any outsourced finance service providers

• Minimum of 2/3 years of local accounting experience
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

• Partly qualified through ACCA or similar
