Established in 2017, BUDDY was created to make HR and Payroll a simpler process for both employers and employees. At the time, the local payroll system lacked the ability to connect with other software via an API, leaving business owners frustrated and relying on manual processes to make systems communicate. With this in mind, the BUDDY team set off to learn the best-in-class solutions around the world to bring much needed innovation to the market. After gaining feedback from beta customers in 2018, BUDDY was quickly praised as the “easiest payroll software”. In order to make the payroll process complete, BUDDY integrated with Deputy, a world-class Time & Attendance solution, and cloud-based accounting packages such as Xero.
